In 1956, a three-week journey around Yugoslavia with the critic Barbara Majewska turned out to be the last trip in the short life of the artist Andrzej Wróblewski. Although he did not fulfil his duties as a delegate of a fraternal socialist republic, the trip certainly influenced his works. Between 15th October 2020 and 10th January 2021, an exhibition was held in Moderna Galerija in Ljubljana that explored this fascinating short period. Titled Andrzej Wróblewski: Waiting Room, it was co-organised by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
