Grobelny – who is known, for example, for creating innovative benches for the Albertine garden in Brussels and for Shanghai's Zhogshan Park – is one of the 25 finalists of the Launch Pad programme, organized by the New York-based platform dedicated to design, NYCxDESIGN. The winner will be selected during the WantedDesign Festival (15-18 May 2015), and then their works shown at the design fair in Los Angeles.
During the show in New York, Paweł Grobelny will present two series of minimalist furniture: "Sur le fil" and "IN-Quarto", which capture hearts because of their simplicity and because of the elegant materials used, for example, American walnut, and various kinds of stone and marble to make the circle-shaped movable elements.
