Nationalmuseum in Stockholm will be presenting the exhibit "Glass is Tomorrow". It will include a series of vases, made in the glass-produci
Two series of vases by designer Paweł Grobelny will be in the exhibition "Glass is Tomorrow" under the title"Recto-Verso". Each piece has a dual function: In one case the vase becomes a bowl, in another, it turns into candlesticks. The vases were all made in a wide range of color and will be presented at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm. These pieces were a part of an earlier project in collaboration with French designer Claude Aiello in 2011.
The exhibit will also include work by Arik Levy, the group Autoban, Werner Aisslinger, Nathalie Dewez, oand Cecilie Manz. The works will be accompanied by ad extensive publication by the French publishing houses ArchiBooks and Pro Materia, summarizing all of the projects that are a part of "Glass is Tomorrow". The Exhibit is curated by Lisa Coirer from "Glass is Tomorrow" and Micael Ernstell from Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
Aftte the presentation at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm the exhibit will be on desplay at the London Design Festival in September.
