One of the most successful emerging authors and playwrights of the younger generation, Dorota Masłowska will be in Istanbul throughout May with some of her most recent and favorite works.

On May 6th at 20.30, the author will host a reading of her recent dramatic work, A Couple of Poor Polish-Speaking Romanians, which will be staged for the first time in Turkey during the upcoming 19th Istanbul International Theatre Festival between 09 May - 05 June 2014. After the reading, there will be an interview and a Q&A session carried out with the author.

Written by Dorota Masłowska and directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna, Między nami dobrze jest/ No Matter How Hard We Tried was successfully performed in Berlin, Brussels and the International Theatre Festival in Minsk. The play was most recently featured at the 19th Istanbul Theatre Festival.
The event is organized as part of the cultural programme of the 600th aniversary of the Polish-Turkish diplomatic relations.
