Since its foundation in 2014, the Westway Lab Festival continues to expand – it has become an important event on the European cultural calendar. This year’s edition will take place from 5th to 8th April.
The festival is accompanied by an artistic residency programme at the Centro de Criação de Candoso in Guimarães. This year, Tomasz Busławski, a.k.a. Buslav has been invited to take part in the programme. During his short residency, Buslav will work on special material with other foreign and local artists. On 5th April 2017, during a special concert, they will present the results of their cooperation. On 7th April 2017, Buslav and his band will play their own concert.
Buslav’s participation in the Westway Lab residency is a direct result of his performance at the Eurosonic Nooderslag festival earlier this year. Eurosonic Nooderslag is one of the most important showcase festivals in Europe.
