The Film Festival in Washington presents new and original works in music and film. Over five days the festival features more than 50 short and feature-length films and documentaries from around the world.
"Odd one out" is a black and white absurd comedy starring a veritable galaxy of Polish stars, including: Piotr Adamczyk, Jan Frycz, Wojciech Pszoniak, Kinga Preis, Lesław Żurek, Krzysztof Globisz and Jacek Braciak. The film is a story about the difficulties of entering adulthood. One day, because the nagging of his parents, Jakub - who is in his late twenties - half-heartedly decides to take on his first job as a delivery man. He does not suspect, however, that it will be one of the strangest days of his life.
Produced by Anima-Pol in Łódź and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, the film, on the 16th of August 2011, was already awarded the jury award for best international feature film at the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival in the US and the award for Los Angeles International Underground Film Festival.
"Odd one out" will be released in Polish cinemas on the 24th of November 2011.
