The festival is a place for fostering contacts that might subsequently lead into interesting collaborations in the future. It’s the musical business card of Eastern Europe and a bridge that links the extremely interesting and receptive Scandinavian market. The organisers closely collaborate with Tallinn’s government and the President of Estonia. The career of the Estonian band Ewert & the Dragons, who were spotted during the festival by European and American promoters, shows how influential and dynamic the festival is.
TMW is the best place for music networking in this part of Europe. The idea behind the project (in accordance with the Don’t Panic! We’re from Poland brand strategy) is to invite to the festival several Polish managers and music promoters and help deepen the contact network between music agents, promoters and music festival directors.
This year there will be nine bands from Poland: Čači Vorba, Resina, Hatti Vatti, Matat Professionals, Soniamiki, Xenony, Małe Miasta, Sotei (Sobura & Teielte) and Chłopcy Kontra Basia.
Culture.pl has given support to the Polish delegates and some of the bands to go to the festival.
