Artists comment on this kind of projects in the four interviews that form part of the publication. That is because, as always, Print Control consists not only of an overview of the most intriguing works in graphic design but also interviews with their creators. The artists who were interviewed in the sixth issue of the publication are: Patryk Hardziej, Cezary Poniatowski, Viktoriya Grabowska and the duo Małgorzata Gurowska&Joanna Ruszczyk. This is how the creator of Print Control justifies her choice of interlocutors:
I’ve invited people who view their technical skills not only as a craft, but also as tools, which help form stories that have a real impact on social problems and the imaginations of individuals.
The sixth issue of Print Control, like all the previous ones, helps to get to know the new trends in poster creation, visual identification and book design. However, that’s not all. It also proves that graphic design, as Magdalena Heliasz underlines, can be fertile ground for creating new authorial artworks and archiving knowledge in literature, photography, architecture, music, history, education, and politics.
