The Polish video artist is among the 21 finalists in the Ukraine's most important competition for young artists, hosted by the Pinchuk Art Centre. 2012 marks the second edition of the contest, which offers a cash prize of $100,000. It is open to all artists up to the age of 35. The exhibition of 21 Shortlisted Artists is open from the 3rd of November 2012 - 6th of January 2013 at the Pinchuk Art Centre.

Agnieszka Polska (born 1985) is a video artist and photographer who lives and works between Kraków and Berlin. She creates video works employing mainly found material, such as archive photography and illustrations, which she subjects to subtle interventions, whether animating them or working them into the existing image.
