Designed by the outstanding architect Max Berg, Centennial Hall in Wrocław is considered to be one of the most prominent architecture works of the 20th century. The architect wanted the modernist pearl to serve the needs of Wrocław citizens and visitors. In 2006, it was listed as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It makes up the bulk of a complex that has a total indoor area of 14,000 square metres, the size of two football pitches.
