Manhattan’s Metropolitan Museum opened two exhibitions with Piotr Uklański's works on 17th March 2015. One of them shows exclusively works of Uklański, including the notorious “Nazis”. The other one presents works of other artists as well.

The versatile young artist leads a talk on the significance of the tree in contemporary art, from the poetic to the political. He draws upon his 2011 project Berlin-Birkenau, which consisted of transporting hundreds of birch-tree seedlings from the former Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp to Berlin to create a "living archive" of history in the parks and public spaces of the German capital.

The exhibition takes a multi-layered view into the evolving character of human rights, its discourse and its problematics, including the conflict between universalism and cultural relativism.

On the 21st the Polish artist participates in a discussion on cultural transformation, its challenges and its impact on the politics of identity at the EFA Project Space in New York. Hubert Czeropok is part of two international group shows making an active commentary on contemporary culture and the impact of politics and society on everyday life. Czerepok is interested in the border between enlightenment and possession, between the Faustian concepts of good and evil. He uses perfection to point out the imperfect, logic to point out the irrational.
