Polish painter, pioneer of the classical avant-garde of the 1920s and 1930s; representative of the Constructivist movement; co-creator of the Geometric Abstract art movement of the 1960s, 70s, and 80s; creator of reliefs, designer of interiors, stage scenery, and posters. Born 1894 in Warsaw, died 1988 Warsaw.
