Terminal is the result of the artistic residence of Karolina Hałatek supported by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art. The piece is inspired by people who have survived clinical death. Hałatek's work is a space of light that illuminates at night, creating a closed form, but accessible from both sides – like a passage. At night it is a source of light, it intrigues and catches the eye of passers-by, it encourages people to walk around it, to enter it and cross over to the otherside.
Terminal was first displayed in Gerlingen, Germany.
