The invited artists worked for two months with Polish actors, introducing them to original nuances in stage space management, subjective perceptions towards different elements of theatrical production during the creative process, as well as new methods of getting the best out of actors. The effect of the collaboration is a multimedia show based on a play by Roman Sikora, one of the most important contemporary Czech playwrights. The title of the Polish translation, written by Małgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuk and Elżbieta Zimna, is Spowiedź Masochisty.
The play is a moving but at the same time grotesquely ironic and irrefutably funny story about contemporary slaves, the pariahs of globalisation, and the crises of both the individual and society itself as capitalism flourishes.
Juliusz Tyszka in his review of the play on teatralny.pl wrote:
The actors… guided by the Brazilian director did a great job considering these difficult and unconventional conditions. Their commitment, physical condition, ability to combine intense physical acting and articulating text, and the willingness to make sacrifices in order to strengthen the ideological significance of the performance were very ‘alternative’…. Anyone… will understand the tragedy and versatility of the problems tackled by this massive comic play by Sikora in the amazingly-realised performance by the Brazilian-Polish team.
The play was awarded the Audience Award as well as Best Actor Award (for the lead, Piotr Kaźmierczak) at the 6th edition of the 'm-theatre' Koszalin Youths Confrontation in June 2015.
The play was granted honorary patronage by the Brazilian Embassy in Poland.
