Docaviv is the only film festival in Israel dedicated exclusively to documentary cinema and is Tel Aviv's largest film festival. The festival takes place from 8th to 17th of May 2014. The Israeli audience will have a chance to see 90 documentaries, including Aneta Popiel–Machnicka's Sometimes I Dream I'm Flying (2013), Bartek Świderski's Sati, Paweł Ziemilski's Rogalik, Matej Bobrik's The Visit (2013), and Sławomir Witek's Seven Men at Different Ages (2013)
Each screening of the film will be followed by a meeting with its director, accompanied by a presentation titled “Shorts are Cool - Financing, production, promotion and distribution of Polish short documentaries”, created by the Krakow Film Foundation.
In the special screening section of the festival, the audience will also have a chance to see Bartek Konopka and Piotr Rosołowski's The Art of Disappearing (2013). The screening will be followed by a discussion with Andrzej Dąbrowski (editor of the film) about feature films and documentaries as interwoven genres.
