Podsumowanie
In early April, president of the prestigious South Korean cultural complex, Seoul Arts Center, Mr Ko Hak-chan, and financial diector of the institution, Mr Song Sungwan, paid a visit to Poland. The purpose of their visit was to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Grand Theare - National Opera in Warsaw and the Krakow Festival Office.

The guests of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute had the opportunity not only to meet with their new partners in Poland, but also to see the main sights in Warsaw, visit the National Opera House and attend concerts held during the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw and the Misteria Paschalia early music festival in Krakow.
Thanks to the cooperation between the Seoul Arts Center and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, an educational programme carried out by Polish institutions for the SAC employees was also launched this year. The first institution to host a SAC employee for a three-month internship is the Krakow Festival Office.

Seoul Arts Center is an immense cultural complex located in the center of Seoul, housing the Opera House, Music Hall comprising of three separate concert halls, Hangaram Art Museum, Hangaram Design Museum and Seoul Calligraphy Art Museum, to name a few. The Center annually presents almost a thousand of different productions from the fields of music, theater and dance, alongside over 100 exhibitions and educational programmes, attracting a total of about 2.5 million viewers a year.
