WQXR Q2 Music Radio, based in New York City, has launched a festival in celebration of Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, the famed Polish composer who passed away last year. Their online radio channel presents a broad programme of Polish music, from 20th Century greats, such as Górecki, Lutosławski and Penderecki, to lesser-known, emerging Polish composers such as Krzysztof Wolek, Agata Zubel and Aleksander Nowak.
