Dada von Bzdülöw Theatre, founded by Leszek Bzdyl – director and choreographer, and Katarzyna Chmielewska – dancer and choreographer, continuously on stage since 1993, is an independent group of professional dancers and actors, producing performances in cooperation with Polish and foreign cultural institutions. As of today, Dada have produced over 40 performances, which have been successfully staged both in Poland and abroad. Company members have also worked in many international productions staged in Germany, Belgium, Sweden and Great Britain. "Non-existent Duets", which were presented to the Korean audience, is the fourty-second production in the company’s output and the second performed by the duo Leszek Bzdyl and Katarzyna Chmielewska.
Beside the project carried out by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, this year’s SIDance also hosted another dance company from Poland: Teatr Zawirowania.
