Designing Beyond the Product brings together designers, entrepreneurs and future thinkers to discuss and discover new ways that design experience, services, and strategies play a role in the future of creative business.
Panel with hands-on experts Takao Umehara, Charlene Ngamwajasat, Dan Yeffet, Michal Mazur and Maria Jeglinska in a discussion with Parsons MS Strategic Design and Management faculty Mark Leal to introduce, inspire, and explore the topic of how we can design beyond the product. Discussion will help understand the contexts of how products are developed, become real, or are lost in the myriad of offerings that millions of companies provide.
Design Safari Workshop is a fast-paced, entertaining, and inspirational exploration of unique retail & service experiences around Manhattan that will help us contextualize the panel conversation and anchor them in real-life, successful innovations beyond products. It will focus on current changes in economies characterized by rapidly evolving standards for the production and management of information, services, and experiences. Led by Maria Potoroczyn (Fahrenheit 212) and Henryk Stawicki (Parsons MS Strategic Design & Management) – two bold facilitators with passion for human-centered design.
