During the concert Mela Koteluk will invite the audience into a world full of contrasts, where verbal realism interconnects with abstraction, and minimalism blends with musical abundance. Independent sound compositions are united with Polish lyrics. The set-list comprises mainly of tracks from the new album, in versions arranged specifically for concerts, but also includes songs from Koteluk’s debut album Spadochron / Parachute.
Mela Koteluk is a vocalist and lyricist. She debuted in 2012 with the album Spadochron / Parachute, which was a great commercial success and obtained the Platynowa Płyta / Platinum Record title. The album consists of 12 self-authored compositions which combine pop and alternative. For her debut album, Mela received two Fryderyk awards in 2013: for album of the year and the debut of the year. Koteluk’s second album Migracje / Migrations came out in November of 2014. It was preceded by the single Fastrygi.
