Marking the end of his master classes in Gdańsk, eminent violinist and conductor Maxim Vengerov conducts the Polish Baltic Philarmonic Hall Symphony Orchestra together with soloist Robert Kabara and young talented international violinists
The young musicians are winners of major violin competitions from around the world (from Europe to Australia). Between 1-11 August 2011 the musicians studied the secrets of their craft under one of the best teachers.
Maxim Vengerov is considered among the greatest violinists of our time. Despite his young age, the 37-year-old artist successfully turns the bow on the baton. He is renowned for his openness and willingness to train and work with talented young violinists. In Autumn 2011 he will preside the jury of the 14th Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Poznań.
Artistic director of Sinfonietta Cracovia - Robert Kabara was the laureate of the most prestigious national and international competitions. During the final concert in Gdańsk Vengerov will have the outstanding violinist and violist by his side. The programme comprises concertos such as Wolfgang AmadeusMozart's "Symphony Concertante in E-flat Major" along with "Waltz from Serenade for string orchestra in C major, Op. 48" by Tchaikovsky.
The final concert of the master classes is held in the Concert Hall at ul. Ołowiance 1 on the 10th of August 2011 at 19:00.
