"Rabbi's cat" screening provided by organizer
Held in Kraków since 1994, the Etiuda&Anima International Film Festival confronted artistic and film achievements art school students from across the globe and presented works of film animation artists - professional and independent filmmakers alike
Accompanying the international competition of animated films and students' works were:
- a contest for the annual outstanding artist and pedagogue award,
- Etiuda&Anima "Top Tens" - unique sets of the best of the best animations chosen by experts,
- "Journeys into the Past of Animation" - a presentation of the achievements of international animation which remain little known in Poland,
- "Animators' Self-Portraits" - a series which provides the audience with a unique opportunity to watch some of the best authors of various animation genres create their film works live
For the past four years, the festival has also included various workshops in scriptwriting, directing, cinematography, editing and animation, conducted by well-known artists and pedagogues from the world’s leading film schools.
The festival enjoys a reputable position among similiar worldwide film events and its popularity grows each year.
