This fall, Tadeusz Dąbrowski will participate in a series of meetings with authors in East Coast book stores, cafes and at universities in the U.S.
Dąbrowski will be presenting a selection of verses from his U.S. release Black Square, published by Zephyr Press in 2011, in addition to other recent works. The first meeting will take place on the 27th of September at Columbia University in New York City.
His tour received partial funding from a residency scholarship awarded by the Ledig House, founded by the Omi International Arts Centre.
Tadeusz Dąbrowski (born 1979) is a poet whose work has been described as inventive, mischievous and metaphysical. The collection of poems found in Black Square have been released in English, German and Ukrainian. His newest publication was made available this year in Kraków by a5 Press, titled Pomiędzy / Between.
His residency with Ledig House marks Dąbrowski's first U.S. scholarship trip, after he worked on a monthly stipend at the Vermont Studio Centre, promoting Black Square in Philadelphia and New York.
