Up until 2007, he had released ten EPs and many, many singles for such record labels as Neue Heimat, Morris Audio and Lasergun. He then transferred to the Berlin-based record label Mobilee, who released his full album soon after. When the album Chronicles of Never appeared in 2008, he was then compared to Ricardo Villalobosy, Tobias Freund and Stefan Goldmann. According to reviews, he combines bold experimentation with a wide range of sounds and dance-like music. Starting from minimal techno, he creates musical, melodic pieces. After the album's release came important singles which were closer to house, such as Loose The Man and Zoo Comunale.
In 2011, in a series released by Mobilee entitled Back To Back, Czubala was responsible for a collection of albums marked with the number 5. The first of which, was of course a compilation made up of the labels previously released tracks from different albums. The second album consisted of only new tracks. Some of the previous curators of the series had decided to re-introduce their favourite tracks produced by the label, although remixed. That is what Czubala said about his Back to Back:
The first CD is a compilation of Mobilee’s best tracks, my vision of the label and its musical diversity. The second album is without a doubt an LP. The main idea behind it was organics, utilizing live instruments and working with musicians and vocalists. The musical genres interact. I really hope it’s something more than just a classic compilation.
On the album with the subtitle Marcin Czubala exclusives & collaborations he featured nine tracks: from full-on dance-groove numbers to spatial ambient tunes and very light pop songs, certainly the lightest of his career. The album featured a famous Polish star from the electronic music scene, producer and vocalist Novika, as well as a duo popular throughout Europe, Catz ‘N Dogz. not to mention Anthony Collins, Metrobox, jozif and Affkt. This album is a great example of what Czubala believes is essential in music and where he gets his versatility from.
