rust to Dazzle Israel

The premiere of rust, the collaboration between Polish choreographer Elwira Piorun and Israeli dancer Ido Tadmor, is going to take place in Tel Aviv.
Elwira Piorun, artistic director of the Dance Theatre Zawirowania, has worked with Ido Tadmor to produce rust, the premiere performance of which takes place on the 27th of August at the Suzanne Dellal Center in Tel Aviv. The Polish premiere of their piece is scheduled for the tenth edition of the International Dance Theatre Festival Zawirowania in 2014. The choreography is a result of work by Tadmor and Rachel Erdos.
The creators of rust are being mysterious about the details of their creation; they leave the theme of the performance to the audience’s interpretation.
Ido Tadmor is a prominent Israeli dancer and choreographer and a member of the renowned Israeili dance companies Bat Dor and Batsheva. Since 1995, he has also been running his own company, and has had many years of experience of working as a dance instructor.
Elwira Piorun, a well-known dancer and choreographer, is a graduate of the Warsaw Ballet School and of the Dance Education programme at the Frederic Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw.
rust is the second collaboration between Zawirowania Dance Theatre and Israeli artists – this time, however, it was initiated by the Israeli side of the team. Last year Tadmor, together with Nadar Rosano, produced several spectacles for the festival: OFF-line, Empty Room, and AND Mr.
