Itinerant Zine Library Comes to Poland
Present your self-published photozines and photobooks during the of Zines of the Zone group's visit to Poland. Selected works will be shown in Łódź and Warsaw.
Zines of the Zone's (ZOTZ) itinerant collection of low-cost photographic publications will arrive in Warsaw as part of their European Tour at the invitation of Paper Beats Rock and Super Salon. If you have created photozines or photobooks, you now have the opportunity to show them to others during meetings in Łódź and Warsaw. Both those who have just started their journey into zines and those who are well-experienced are both welcome, encourage the organizers. Submissions can be sent via the form on the official website until April 17th.
Zines of the Zone is a mobile library dedicated to self-published photobooks, photozines, and any DIY printed matter related to photography. Their aim is to create a European network and generate a public collection of these alternative practices.

Paper Beats Rock is a group of enthusiasts who organize, among others, workshops during which zines are produced.
"Paper Beats Rock" is a publishing enterprise, educational programme, pop-up library and a collective of creative minds. It is a response to the shortage of institutions, which could without any strings attached help young artists to accomplish their projects.
We believe that the use of images has become a social skill, in consequence the boundary between recognized artist and amateur starts to fade at the same time leaving much more space for a discussion. We wish to give an equally strong voice to unknown, but definitely interesting artists. – official statement
